Open an Existing Excel File
- Click the Office Button> Open. The Open dialog box appears.
- If necessary, select the appropriate folder from the Look In drop-down list. Then select the file you want to open.
Open the Files of Type drop-down menu to display files saved in other formats. Excel displays recently used files on the right side of the Office Button menu. Click any listed filename to quickly open it.

- Click the Open button. The workbook appears in the Excel workspace, ready for you to edit.
